  i was on security at an assembly and we were told not to let anyone no matter who they were in before 730 am .

  this bro who was always full of himself come along and wanted to be let in i said we were under strict instructions not to let anyone in before 730. he kept trying to talk me around and failed so he said " do you know who i am "?

  i said " yes a humble servent of jehovah just like the rest of us".

  One night I spent 4 hours, from 8 to 12 midnight, sitting in a car with an old English brother. This was in Canada. Anyways, the whole night nothing happened, we just parked the car so we could see the grounds and entrance to the Assembly Hall. Reggie, the Englishman, spent the whole time talking about his high blood pressure and when he was in 'the service', 'When I was in the service, this...' and '...when I was in the service...' that. Hour after hour. At first I thought it didn't make any sense. Then he started talking about his .303 rifle and others in his regiment, and I am thinking, 'What kind of field service do they have in England?' Finally my 18 year old brain figures out, ' He's not talking about 'field service witnessing' , but he's talking about 'in the service' in the English army. After that I would listen to him at the Kingdom Hall talking to whoever, old sisters, brothers, kids, and he would always talk about 'when I was in the service.' Funny, they were always wondering what the h#ll he was talking about.

  Hillary Clinton Winning total vote count but loses the Election

  do those of you outside the usa find it odd that in a presidential election, the total number of people casting votes means nothing?

  there is a method we use here called the electoral college based on each state rather than the total votes cast by actual people.. this is, i believe the 5th time in america's history that the person with the most votes lost the election (the last was in 2000 when al gore beat george w. bush by about 400,000 votes but lost the election).. so hillary (at the moment i last checked) had overall about 200,000 more votes nationwide but lost.. i'm sure a lot of people in other countries scratch their heads when they see this happening.. rub a dub.

  was going through the book that is currently being studied at midweek meetings.. paragraph 18 of chapter 11 reads.... a second area of moral refinement involves themeasures taken to keep the congregation clean.

  sad-ly, not all who accept jehovah’s standards of conductand dedicate themselves to god loyally stick withtheir decision.

  some eventually have a change ofheart and willfully rebel against those standards.what is to be done about such ones?

  one of the therapy sessions involves him riding a horse around a forested area.

  no doubt the tranquil ride through leafy glades and down meandering trails will help to keep his mind off of young girls.

No doubt the tranquil ride through leafy glades and down meandering trails will help to keep his mind off of young girls. Riding horses has, at times, had a calming effect on me, however, I must admit that most of the time possibly falling off frightened the h#ll out of me. Probably a 30/70 split. 30% of the time calming and 70% of the time... well, you get the picture.

  Now, may I suggest that with the anxiety that the bethelites are, and will no doubt experience when they are reassigned to a pay-your-own-way preaching position, that the Watchtower Society implement a 'theocratic equine therapy' program to help calm them down. Taking their minds off of how to survive in the real world and putting it on how to stay alive on the top of a horse will do much to ease the transition. The new WT Headquarters estate will surely have ample outdoor space to institute such a program,

  In the 1950's my mother answered a door to a neighbour lady, a Jehovah's Witness. This woman spoke in a kind and loving way and showed a genuine interest in my mother. Mom had four young boys, all under 8 years old. Flash back a few years. Her husband had died in a fire, leaving his wife, my Mom and a young son, my older brother to fend for themselves. A horrible time for Mom. No family close to comfort her and support her. Catholic Priest tells Mom husband has gone straight to Hell as he was not a Catholic. How is this possible, such a good man went to Hell? Could not accept it. First husbands brother attends the funeral, never seen Mom before, [people got married quicker in the 40's/World War ll was over/people wanted to move on] husbands brother marries Mom and then has 3 more boys.

  Then a loving woman with a Bible in her hand shows her that her first husband, my Uncle, did not go to a burning Hell but was only sleeping until the resurrection. [This had bothered Mom for many years.] Mom agreed to a study, congregation supported her and helped her get to meetings, care for the kids, field service, assemblies to attend, new system just around the corner, etc,etc,etc, It made us special people on this earth. Mom and 4 boys all came into the 'truth' and were baptized. Not the husband but he was friendly with all and attended some meetings. A good man and good provider. Sunshine had started to shine on this woman's life. She now had something special she never had before. She belonged and her family was protected from future calamity coming upon this earth.

  So, Simon, when you ask if my Mom was an idiot I have to ask if you have the slightest idea what you are talking about.

  there continues to be more and more rumors of more halls being sold off some even taking the first offer.

  the borg trying to get thier bond money back from the court in san diego asap and there's been elders meetings about this consolidation.

  my questions is why after selling off all this real estate in new york for over a billion dollars are they still acting like thier broke?

He changed his name to some weird name, the last that I heard from him he was retired prior to the big change; went to Puerto Rico or Costa Rica and I heard that he was asking the friends for some help with relocation money...'
